Gold rules. And chances are if you’re like most people you’re hurting for gold to get your epic mount. Well I’ll show you how you can make 400-600 gold in just a few hours every day. You’ll make a lot more if you’re a skinner, because it’s a grinding spot that will make you loads.
The spot is in Winterspring where the elite dragons spawn. You can solo the dragons pretty easy, and t he dragons have a pretty good drop rate for Mature Blue Dragon Sinew, an epic hunter’s quest item that sells really well in the AH. Anytime you have a quest item it’ll fly off the shelf, check the going price on your server with your auctioneer, they’ll differ from server to server, but I can sell them for 75g on my server no problem.
Besides that epic drop you’ll also pick up plenty of greens, and vendor trash too. Plus the traveler’s Backpack drops here too. If you don’t have 16 & 18 slot bags by now, I’d question your abilities, but these traveler’s bags sell in the AH for anywhere from 18-25 gold. And they usually sell fast because there aren’t many of them in the AH at any given time, so you may be able to get a little more of a premium if there aren’t any others listed.
If you’re a skinner like me you can skin the dragons and make a lot more. You’ll get rugged leather and blue dragon scales, which you can either sell in the AH or craft for more profit. Always check your profit margin of going prices for materials before you craft them though, sometimes you can make more selling them in the AH than crafting them and then selling the crafted items.
